About this website

berniebrain is the project website of Bernie Foster, an independent software developer in Alberta, Canada. It introduces apps, practical tools, and creative projects and provides customer assistance through berniefoster0108@gmail.com.

Using the site

You may browse the site and follow its project links. Use it lawfully and do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse another person’s information.

Project descriptions do not transfer ownership of software, artwork, or other content. Each app’s stated licence or terms determine how it may be used.

Software availability

Project statuses distinguish live apps from work in development, concepts, and private/internal work. A project page is an introduction, not a promise of public access, a release date, or a particular future feature. An app may be available elsewhere before its public link is added here.

Individual apps may have their own account requirements, privacy information, licences, fees, and limitations. Read those details before using an app. Features and availability may change, and uninterrupted or error-free service is not guaranteed. Keep your own backups of important information where an app allows it.

Support payments and purchases

Cribbage Log is free. Its optional Support the Developer contribution is a one-time, supporter-chosen amount starting at $2.00 CAD. Checkout is hosted by Stripe.

A voluntary support payment is separate from purchasing software or services. It does not by itself buy a licence, unlock features, reserve work, or guarantee future development. It is not a subscription or a charitable donation.

Any future purchase must clearly state what is supplied, its price and currency, delivery or access arrangements, and applicable refund or cancellation terms before payment. No such purchase is offered by this website at present.

Refunds and payment enquiries

Voluntary support payments are non-refundable for change of mind, except where required by applicable law. For duplicate or incorrect charges, or for other payment questions, contact berniefoster0108@gmail.com with the receipt reference; the terms shown for that transaction and applicable law remain relevant.

External services and limitations

Links may take you to independently operated apps, shops, or payment services with their own terms. The website and project descriptions are provided for general information. To the extent permitted by applicable law, availability and suitability are not guaranteed. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable Canadian or provincial law does not allow to be excluded.
