Scope and contact

This policy describes the berniebrain website at berniebrain.netlify.app, operated by Bernie Foster in Alberta, Canada. For privacy questions or requests, contact berniefoster0108@gmail.com.

Linked apps and external shops may collect different information. This policy does not describe every app’s data practices; consult the notices within the app or service before using it.

Information collected and why

• Website visits: Netlify hosts and delivers this site. Requests can include your IP address, requested page, browser information, referring page, and request time. The hosting provider may process technical data to deliver the site, maintain reliability, and prevent abuse.
• Email you send: contacting customer support shares your email address, name if included, message, and attachments. These are used to respond to your request, investigate issues, and follow up. Email is handled through the approved Gmail address; it is not submitted through a website form.
• Payments: this website currently has no active checkout or payment link. If Stripe support payments are enabled later, Stripe will process the payment information you submit. berniebrain may receive transaction details such as your name, email, amount, currency, payment status, and receipt reference to handle payment enquiries and records. The payment flow and this notice must be reviewed before activation.

Browser storage and analytics

This version includes no advertising scripts, embedded third-party media, or browser-based analytics tracker. It does not offer visitor accounts or a contact form. This does not mean that the hosting provider collects no technical information.

Your browser can cache site files for faster loading and limited offline use. The optional Admin workbench stores draft content, password/recovery hashes, and local access state in that browser. These workbench records are not a shared online account and are not automatically uploaded by this site.

You can clear cached files and local records in your browser’s site-data settings. Doing so also removes any unexported Admin drafts.

Storage, sharing, and service providers

Support correspondence is stored in the email service and may be present on devices used to handle it. Site files and technical hosting data are handled by Netlify. Browser-local records remain in that browser unless exported or otherwise shared by its user.

The providers used for hosting, email, and any future payments process information needed for those services under their own terms. Processing may occur outside Canada. This website does not promise Canada-only storage, a particular provider retention period, or complete security.

Retention and your choices

Browser storage remains until cleared by you, the browser, or a site update. Email and provider records may remain in active storage or backups. No fixed automatic deletion schedule is represented by this website.

You can ask what personal information berniebrain holds about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern by emailing berniefoster0108@gmail.com. Please provide enough detail to locate the record without sending unnecessary sensitive information. Identity may need to be confirmed before records are disclosed; legal recordkeeping requirements or provider limitations may affect deletion.

Changes

This notice will need updating if the website’s collection or services change. Review the current policy when using a new feature or following a payment link.
